Our Mission
The UK has set ambitious nuclear targets. Turning that ambition into projects that actually get built means having credible sites in the right places, clear regulatory and delivery routes, and a development model that works for private capital as well as public policy.
Fermi’s job is to do that early, hard work: building a pipeline of investable nuclear development sites that can host a new fleet of SMRs and AMRs, supporting energy security, decarbonisation and long term economic growth.

We have screened more than 100 potential locations nationwide and are now progressing a focused portfolio of sites suitable for modular nuclear deployment. This is how we unlock the UK’s nuclear site potential in practice, not just on paper.

Our staged development process is built around de-risking projects ahead of Final Investment Decision, so investors and technology vendors can move quickly and confidently when conditions are right.
